Rainforest Rewild Pineapple - A2 Pink

CJP is a contemporary find artist, living and working in the UK. With a career in Art Direction and Photography, his artwork reflects the curious and the intricate combined with an environmental flair there are always hidden details that continuously reveal themselves.

Rainforest Rewild Pineapple, A2 Pink is a giclee print from an open edition. It is an updated version on his classic pinecone print. Transforming the western hemisphere pinecone into an exotic pineapple set against a flat, magenta background for stand out impact. Spot the many hidden creatures, camouflaged like an optical illusion. Lemurs, parrots and other exotic creatures nestle among the leaves and scales of the pineapple. The detail of the pineapple is almost photographic in accuracy and it is this intricacy combined with modern day colour and animals that transforms it into a compelling piece of contemporary art.

CJP is donating 10% of all profits for this print to The World Land Trust, who work to save rainforests and threatened habitats. The World Land Trust will use the donations to fund the purchase and protection of critically threatened land through WLT’s Buy an Acre programme where land can be saved at £100/acre. Current projects are in Ecuador and Mexico.

    About the artist

With a background as an art director and photographer, contemporary fine artist CJP fuses his disciplinary expertise to create a nuanced blend of black and white photography and intricate illustration.

His work reflects a passion for the natural environment, as well as a preoccupation with the tools we use to interact with it. CJP’s aesthetic is one of visual hide-and-seek, exploring the hidden narratives embedded in both organic settings and man-made objects, through the application of painstaking detail.

CJP has exhibited widely across the UK and his work is held in a number of private galleries. In 2019, he had his first solo show, ‘Anima Mundi’, at Art of Protest Gallery in York.
