You've Got The Love I Need To See Me Through

You've Got The Love I Need To See Me Through is a limited edition giclèe print by emerging contemporary print artist Kid-B.

The piece is part of Kid-B’s collection, The Boom Selection, which celebrates 90s and 00s British garage music. Across the print, Kid-B has written the lyrics from the 1976 Candi Station song You Got the Love (later sampled throughout the 00s). The spray can letters are encircled in a love-heart of neon red light and shot through with Cupid’s arrow. Kid-B is also known as female bass DJ B-Trix Kiddo.

From a limited edition of 200, each one signed and numbered by the artist, You’ve Got The Love I Need To See Me Through is an affordable and unique work of contemporary street art, perfect for anyone with a passion for graffiti art looking to start a collection or just a fabulous one-off to hang in your home.

    About the artist
    +

The woman behind female Bass DJ ‘B-Trix Kiddo’, Kid-B’s artwork is a translation of beat to canvas. Fusing her passion for Drum and Bass with her eye for graphics and typography, Kid-B creates a street aesthetic suffused with urban style.

Her print collections celebrate the golden age of Drum and Bass and Garage music in the 90s and early 00s, blending retro iconography with contemporary techniques for a distinctively modern aesthetic.

Her work is driven by a strong sensitivity to colour and composition, mixing contemporary graffiti art with a retro Pop aesthetic, through a combination of loud colour and fragments of in-your-face text. Fierce and fearless, the work of Kid-B is a force to be reckoned with.
