Ryan Callanan aka RYCA is a British contemporary artist with a distinctive body of work. Whether via his prints, sculptures or recreations of traditional pub signage, RYCA has a unique knack for capturing the zeitgeist, fusing the modern and the traditional to create new and exciting takes on familiar references.
Enter Gallery has enjoyed a long and successful relationship with RYCA, hosting numerous shows over the years, including Little Smiling Dots (2021) and Playtime (2022).
Most recently in 2023, Enter Gallery hosted Words Are Weapons, marking 15 years since RYCA started making his enormously-popular, typographical works. The show paid homage to moments in music, film and TV so iconic they're now ingrained in popular culture.
