Allen Jones is a British pop artist known for erotic figurative sculptures and paintings which explore traditional male and female power dynamics.
Jones studied alongside David Hockney and R.B Kitaj at the Royal College of Art, and despite being thrown out after just one year, was included in the seminal 1961 Young Contemporaries exhibition that was credited with launching the English Pop Art movement.
