British artist Emma Talbot (b. 1969, Worcestershire) studied at the Kent Institute of Art and Design, the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design, and the Royal College of Art, graduating in 1995. She has exhibited globally in solo shows at venues like Transition Gallery (London) and Freud Museum (London), as well as group exhibitions at Turner Contemporary (Margate) and the Walker Art Gallery (Liverpool). 

Talbot won a scholarship to the British School in Rome (1995) and the Max Mara prize (2019-2021), resulting in new work showcased at Whitechapel Gallery (London) and Collezione Maramotti (Italy) in 2021. Her art was also featured in the Venice Biennale 2022, and her works are held in collections such as the Saatchi Collection and Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery. She lives and works in London.
