Hannah Shillito is a contemporary artist whose work is defined by maximalism and the joy of colour. Attention-grabbing, honest and playful, Shillito’s art emanates pleasure and positivity.
Having lived all over the world, and worked as a poet, photographer, children’s author and teacher, Shillito has developed a love of life and words that shines through her work. As she explains: “A picture tells a thousand words, but I like to condense those words and pack a punch.”
Shillito’s art has been featured in British Vogue, and shown at Pikes Ibiza and in exhibitions around the world, including sell-out show, 100 Brighton Women. Shillito has collaborated with Barclaycard, Bimini Bon Boulash and Yan Skates of Netflix’s Big Flower Fight, and her work is in the personal collections of John Cooper Clarke, Yungblud and Arron Crascall.
