Hannah Shillito is a contemporary artist known for her unapologetic maximalism and joyful explosions of colour. Her bold, playful works radiate pleasure and positivity, instantly lifting any space they inhabit.
Creativity runs in Shillito’s blood. Growing up in a creative family, she was inspired by her grandfather, a photojournalist who shared stories of touring with The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, sparking her lifelong fascination with storytelling through images.
Shillito’s vibrant practice spans painting, photography, and design, with her work featured in British Vogue and exhibited around the world. Her photographic works have been showcased by the SeeMe global artistic community, with one image projected onto a skyscraper in Manhattan and another, captured backstage at a burlesque club in Milan, exhibited digitally at Le Louvre.
A true multi-disciplinary talent, Shillito has also designed fabric for a range of women’s fashion and accessories, and she recently held a solo exhibition in Ibiza in collaboration with the Concept Hotel Group, working alongside David Bowie’s official photographer, Mick Rock.
Shillito’s work embodies her belief that art should be fun, fearless, and for everyone. Her pieces are made to bring joy, spark conversations, and make every day a little more colourful.
