Harland Miller Biography

Harland Miller

A critically acclaimed novelist, as well as an influential painter, Harland Miller is best known for his satirical paintings of reimagined Penguin Classics.

His style brings together aspects of Pop Art, Abstract Expressionism, figurative painting, and large-scale photorealism, all combined with a writer’s love of words.

Using muted tones and painterly brushstrokes, Miller’s canvases have the character of a well-worn, vintage paperback, using retro aesthetics to confront contemporary socio-political landscapes.
