Olivier Rizzo, aka ‘Speedy Graphito’ is a pioneer of the French street art movement known for using stencils and brushes to execute his own distinct brand of graffiti – a style known internationally as ‘Style Graphito’. In the game since the 1980s and having painted and exhibited all across the world, Speedy’s unique style has influenced a whole generation of graffiti artists.
The artist’s work is inspired by imagery from Maya culture, cartoons, and the dynamic characters seen in the works of Keith Haring and Javier Mariscal. Via his graffiti, painting, sculpture, installation work and video and photography, Speedy offers a wise critique of society
