Rose Blake is an illustrator, crafting her creations from her studio in a railway arch beside a London canal.
Since graduating from the Royal College of Art, Blake’s illustrations have been commissioned by The New Yorker, Google, The New York Times and The Sunday Times. Blake has also illustrated a number of children’s books, including a series of art activity books encouraging children to learn about the careers and artistic techniques of Andy Warhol, David Hockney, and Peter Blake (who, incidentally, is Rose’s father).
Although primarily working in editorial and advertising, Blake’s first solo show, Now I’m An Artist, and her collection of hand-embroidery on silk, Sing Swim Okay Moon, have firmly established her as an exciting talent in the art world.
