Carinthia West (b. 1951) is a model, actress, photographer, writer, and muse to rock icons, capturing intimate moments with legendary figures like Jimi Hendrix, George Harrison, and Mick Jagger. Discovered by Beatles photographer Robert Whitaker at sixteen, West's photography portfolio includes candid, real-life images of some of the 20th century's most celebrated personalities.
In the 1980s, West worked in Los Angeles as an actress and journalist, contributing to major publications like Marie Claire and Harper’s Bazaar. Her photographs, rediscovered by her godchildren, have been exhibited globally, including at the Victoria & Albert Museum and Soho Contemporary Art.
