The garish colour palette of Camo Tramp Boy is instantly-recognisable as textbook Ron English. The American artist is known for lambasting American culture and society on the whole via his confronting and amusing art - a style he has nicknamed, 'POPaganda'.
The boy we see before us in Camo Tramp Boy may be dressed like a clown, complete with flamboyant costume and face paint. However, the combat fatigues, vacant stare and most worryingly, the index finger poised on the trigger of an enormous machine gun, hint at something far more sinister.
