In the month that the Jubilee celebrations kick into gear, we thought it only fitting that our May giveaway pay homage to Queenie herself. If you’ve missed the memo, this year marks a whopping 70 years on the throne for the Queen.
Over the course of her reign, depictions of our monarch have permeated the art world, with everyone from Damien Hirst to Lucian Freud to Andy Warhol lending their unique talents to immortalising her likeness.
But without a doubt the most famed artistic image of Queen Elizabeth II is God Save the Queen by Jamie Reid. Depicting the Queen with a safety pin through her lip, the image has been described as, ‘the single most iconic image of the punk era’ – and now it can be yours.
