‘Motel Déjà Vu, We've all seen’ will be an installation of 12 paintings and a sound-scape created from recordings and designed sounds which represent elements from the art works, creating an extra sense of immersion in the work. It will be on show in our Soho gallery from 11th November.
Lidia uses her work as a way to record thoughts and ideas, as well as commenting on recent news and events. She describes her approach as creating a comic strip but within a single frame and without dialogue. Instead she creates the narrative through the layers of images through which the viewer has to navigate their own path.
