We mentioned in September that we had camera crew in the Brighton gallery following one of our artists Fox. Last week Brighton artist Fox hit our TV screens in a poignant and moving documentary about transsexuals.
They follow a group of seven people as they go about their daily lives and address the issues and prejudices surrounding gender and their identity. As they undertake different gender affirmation procedures the group comes together to provide advice and support through the difficult decision to change gender. There are some lively characters and all of them have a story to tell. We are really proud of Fox for speaking out so openly about a not so openly discussed subject in a genuinely interesting documentary.
