Cattrell’s work draws deep inspiration from the natural landscape, particularly the convergence of sea, sky, and land. She seamlessly blends drawing, tone, and color to create breathtaking abstract landscapes, interpreted through delicate brushstrokes and a dreamy color palette. Printmaking is integral to her creative process, using the transparency of silkscreen to build images, much like her paintings, which are layered with thin washes of paint resembling watercolors in texture.
