We Share our Chemistry with the Stars
In this striking signed limited-edition print of 150, which could be mistaken for a photograph of outer space, Quinn explores individuality with the human iris. Like a fingerprint, every human iris is entirely unique. That's why the eyes have always been thought of as representations of the soul.
Quinn refers to the human eyes as "the doors of perception, the portal between inner and outer, the link between us and the world.'
We Share Our Chemistry with the Stars revisits themes of the body, the human spirit, and bringing the inside out, seen across much of Quinn's work. Most notably in his seminal piece, "Self', which saw the artist cast a sculpture of his head in his own blood.

Your Framing Options at entergallery.com
Box framing is provided with all our online framing, creating a distance between the glass and your artwork, so no risk of ink transfer to the pane. it's the perfect, gallery grade choice for limited edition prints or original artworks.
Shadow float mounting is an option at our website, to give the appearance of an artwork floating within the frame. The mount – an archival foam core – creates depth too, by casting a shadow beneath the artwork. We highly recommend using a float mount when framing artwork with deckled (hand-torn) edges.
As always, all our materials are sustainable and archival to keep your artwork in mint condition and perfectly presented. Simply choose from our white or black float framing options, before adding to basket.
Glazing all our framing orders are shipped with glass. We take great care with packaging to protect your artwork.
Alternatively, for added piece of mind, we've the option of gallery grade cast acrylic, offering superb clarity and protection.

About the artist
One of the leading artists of his generation, Marc Quinn graduated from Cambridge University with a degree in History and History of Art before switching track to contemporary visual art in the 1990s.
Working across sculpture, painting, and drawing, Quinn incorporates a broad range of materials through both traditional and modern techniques. With his critical background, Quinn suffuses every work with a sense of the profound, tackling questions of the human condition through a contemplation of science and astrology.
Well-known artworks include the sculpture of the artist’s head, cast from his own frozen blood, and his depiction of the artist Alison Lapper on Trafalgar Square’s Fourth Plinth in 2005. In 2001, Quinn also won The Royal Academy of Art’s Charles Wollaston Award for Catherine Long, a sculptural nude in white marble.
