Well Hi (Orange) is an 8 colour screen print by contemporary artist and illustrator Magda Archer. Printed onto Somerset Satin white 300gsm paper with deckled edges, the piece was released in 2019.
The print is maximum Magda Archer: a blend of kitsch, cutesy style with juxtaposed sardonic text for a witty and whimsical work of contemporary art. Against a tangerine background, two cartoon bluebirds perch on pink flowers. Cheery pink writing reads: “Well, hi! Good morning! Ready for some more bullshit!” A modern take on retro pop art conventions, Archer’s print is not only fun but visually fabulous. An artist at the top of her game, Archer has collaborated on highly acclaimed projects including The Beatles’ Anthology and the Harry Hill Fun Book and her work appeared in the Tate Liverpool at the 2000 exhibition ‘Peter Blake: About Collage’.

The mount – an archival foam core – creates depth too, by casting a shadow beneath the artwork. We highly recommend using a float mount when framing artwork with deckled (hand-torn) edges.

Glazing all our framing orders are shipped with glass. We take great care with packaging to protect your artwork.
