Ame72 describes himself as a ‘a modern day graffiti, street and pop artist with a background in graphic design, innovation and technology.’ His style, which he brands ‘Conceptual Pop Art’ is inspired by human emotion and reaction.

Ame72 is best-known for his use of the Lego man in his stencil art. His obsession with the toy came during childhood, after his family’s TV broke one day and was never replaced. He uses the iconic character to create thought-provoking and amusing images that reflect life in modern society, and comment on consumerism, economic abundance and environmental awareness.
