Cleo Barbour is a Brighton-based contemporary artist specialising in bold graphic illustrations and prints. Her colourful palette is inspired by the nature, architecture and design that she has photographed during her extensive travels around the world.
Barbour’s background in shoe design is evident in her art via her sleek design and harmonious colour combinations. Her work is inspired by Art Deco and evokes the glamour of the 1920s, or as Barbour herself describes it, ‘think Gatsby-era glamour with a twenty-first century twist.’
