Mark Vessey is a British photographic artist, internationally-renowned for documenting popular culture via his Collections series. Whether photographing magazines, vinyl or vodka bottles, Vessey transforms ordinary objects into works of art, celebrating their physical beauty and everything they evoke.
Vessey has immortalised everything from Glastonbury headliners to popular genres, including Funk ‘n’ Soul, House, Musicals and Hip Hop. Recently, Vessey has cultivated an entirely new take on classic portraiture, providing an intimate glimpse at legendary DJs via the vinyl that defines them.
