Paul Insect is an anonymous British artist who rose to prominence as part of the Insect Collective in the late 90s. Damien Hirst bought Insect’s entire solo show in 2007, and his work appeared in Banksy’s 2015 pop-up, Dismaland.
Through his work, which combines Dadaism, Pop Art and graffiti, Insect critiques digital identity, exploring who we actually are, who we choose to be, and who we choose to present ourselves as.
