In the name of injecting a splash colour into an otherwise grey and dreary January, this month Enter Gallery is running an exclusive competition to win an unframed limited edition print from renowned Spanish artist, Okuda San Miguel.
El Lago Del Deseo
Our competition winner will be the proud owner of El Lago Del Deseo (Lake of Desire) – a kaleidoscopic limited edition that is part of one of the artist's rare print runs, making this quite the coup for any art collector! The piece is Okuda’s interpretation of gothic artist, Hieronymus Bosch’s painting, A Garden of Earthly Delights.
Flying colours
Okuda San Miguel is a multi-disciplinary artist making the world a brighter place one art project at a time. While his work spans installations, sculpture, collage, tapestry and photography, Okuda is best-known for his sky-high geometric murals that feature humans and animals, and have illuminated cityscapes across the world, everywhere from Las Vegas to Moscow.
Explaining his exceptional use of colour, Okuda states:
‘I try to symbolise all skin colours and all races. All colours in one. A multicultural world.’
The competition runs from Saturday 1st January until Monday 31st January. The winner will be announced on Tuesday 1st February.
