Just in time for Christmas and all set for the New Year are a series of fabulous new limited editions to arrive through the doors of our London gallery.
2009 saw some great new work released by some great new artists as well as the biggest and best show just why they are rated so highly. But right at the end of the year we have seen some really great works released. Below are our London gallery’s favourites…
The Norwegian stencil artist Dolk, whose name means ‘knife’ in his native tongue, has released two of his best loved street pieces in recent times ‘Priest’ and ‘Police Line’. Both are signed limited editions of 150 and both feature Dolk’s trademark colours of black and yellow. We are so glad he released these and at £250 unframed they are more affordable than his previous releases too!
Hush
A welcome return to the gallery walls are these three new releases from Geordie street artist Hush. To be honest, we love all of these especially ‘Cover Girls’, but all are considered a good return to form from the hotly tipped artist.
Ben Allen
Not seen that often in our London store, but we couldn’t resist the new and improved lovebird print from one of Brighton’s most popular artists Ben Allen. The black gloss on this print sells itself...truly sumptuous.
C215
What a combination, C215 the best portrait street artist there is at current featuring a rather fresh faced Pure Evil in what can only be described as the most colourful limited edition to arrive in 2009. Very popular already and is sure to do well. Only a signed edition of 50.
Sir Peter Blake
Lastly but not least the Godfather of Pop Art shows his desire to keep bringing good art to everyone with these beautiful tine plates featuring Peter Blake’s iconic ‘pop’ colours. ‘We Love London’ and ‘We Love Recycling’ are both editions of 5000 published and release in collaboration with The Tate and at £50 a surefire way to beat any New Years hangover!
