On Friday 15th June 2012 we threw a surprise 80th birthday party for Sir Peter Blake. Over 150 guests, including many of our customers (and a few celebrities), enjoyed a night of burlesque circus cabaret in the decadent surroundings of Brighton’s Proud Cabaret Ballroom.
Sir Peter Blake was delighted at the surprise. He thought he was invited to a repeat of a previous question and answer session with our gallery customers.
The thrilling circus cabaret was inspired by a theme that often features in Sir Peter’s work.
The night concluded with dancing into the early hours courtesy of the outstanding ‘Hush Club’ DJ’s.
