artrepublic has arranged for this dazzling double-decker of delight to be on its way to Brighton on Saturday 3rd May as part of Brighton Fringe 2014. Designed to emulate a rock ’n’ roll tour bus the four-wheeled ride is a groovy Pop marvel bursting with beautiful Peter Blake artwork...
Brighton Fringe is one of the largest fringe festivals in the world and a celebration of all things creative. This year we are delighted to present the wonderful art bus bringing the art and imagery of Peter Blake to the renowned seaside festivities.
Sir Peter Blake’s exuberant design includes colourful motifs from his Pop Art aesthetic, giant childhood characters such as Mickey Mouse, and the iconic Marilyn Monroe. The fascinating bus is sure to delight all of the family and prove that ‘Art’ doesn’t have to be exclusive or dryly academic, but can be all-embracing, fun and ‘moving’!
The unique mobile work of art and travelling gallery can be flagged down in New Road in the centre of Brighton on Saturday 3rd May as part of the exciting Fringe City event taking over all of New Road and Jubliee Square. It’s a free, non ticketed event so jump on board and let the godfather of British Pop Art take you on a magical mystery tour.
Look out for flyers on the bus detailing a very special FREE GIFT*
After your visit to the bus, do call in to our Brighton gallery to view our extensive and rare Peter Blake collection. But before you do, be sure to pick up a flyer from in and around the bus detailing a very special FREE GIFT, *when you purchase a Peter Blake print this weekend.
See you at the bus stop!
