Contemporary artist, Dan Baldwin was at Brighton Beach House this week, regaling their creative members with tales from across his impressive artistic career.

Hosted by Stuart Holdsworth from Enter Gallery’s Art Related Noise podcast, the pair dived into Baldwin’s creative process, his obsession with colour, and the themes that have captivated him since art school.

Since 1998, Dan Baldwin has been prolific, creating multiple artworks almost every day.

Over the years Dan Baldwin art has dived into the realms of politics, war, religion, innocence and nature, using abstract and figurative motifs to weave narratives that speak to our modern world.

On the night, Baldwin discussed how as time has passed, the topics that inspire his work have evolved, and how now he primarily creates works using symbolism from nature to explore human vulnerability.

The interview makes great listening for those looking for further insight into Dan's creative practice and how he has navigated the art world over the last 20 years.
