Last night, art lovers and music industry professionals straight from Brighton Music Conference flocked to Enter Gallery for the launch of Simon – the latest release from Mark Vessey’s coveted Collections series.
In his new piece, Vessey captures the musical influences of Simon Dunmore – superstar DJ and the brains behind Defected Records. The piece features 88 wonderfully-worn records from his personal collection, spanning everything from seminal house and disco, to jazz and R&B.
The launch was one to remember with Simon entertaining guests on the decks, and an appearance from legendary Trainspotting author, Irvine Welsh. Here are some snaps which capture the fun of the event…
