We’re thrilled to introduce a new series of silkscreen prints by celebrated British artist Bruce McLean at Enter Gallery.
Titled, A Vase of Arranged Flowers in a Wild Garden, this new series continues McLean’s exploration of structured still life drawings from ceramics he has crafted himself. By placing these three-dimensional forms into the two-dimensional world of print, McLean invites us to rethink traditional boundaries between sculpture, painting and printmaking.
Each composition is bold, playful, and layered - true to McLean’s ongoing interest in questioning the conventions of display and artistic hierarchy. The series presents a composition within a composition, turning vases, jugs and florals into a striking visual arrangements that blur the lines between object and image.
This latest edition also draws inspiration from McLean’s past works which incorporate elements of flora and fauna that fans of his garden-inspired pieces will instantly recognise.

Available in blue, green, pink and orange, - each colour way offers its own bold personality while staying true to McLean’s distinctive aesthetic.
Bruce McLean has long been recognised as one of the most influential figures in British contemporary art. A sculptor, painter, printmaker and performance artist, McLean rose to prominence in the 1960s for his avant-garde approach and irreverent sense of humour. He challenged the seriousness of the art world by creating works that were both conceptually rich and playfully subversive. His career has spanned decades and mediums, consistently breaking boundaries while retaining a distinctive, witty and spontaneous style.
Printed at Coriander Studios and published by CCA Galleries, this release is a celebration of McLean’s lifelong creativity and his continued impact on the contemporary art scene.
