To celebrate over 50 years of championing fine art and publishing limited-edition prints, our friends at CCA Galleries have launched the first-ever Emerging Artist Award - an open call designed to uncover and support the next generation of creative talent.
What Is the CCA Emerging Artist Award?
The CCA Emerging Artist Award 2026 is open to artists working in any visual art form, including painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, film, and design.
This landmark initiative offers artists a platform to develop their practice in collaboration with CCA Galleries and the master printmakers at Worton Hall Studios, whose legacy includes working with icons like Sir Peter Blake and Bruce McLean.
Prizes
Three winners will be selected for cash prizes and the chance to work on a professional print publication with Worton Hall Studios:
- 1st Prize: £2,500 + option of a print edition
- 2nd Prize: £1,500 + option of a print edition
- 3rd Prize: £1,000 + option of a print edition
What Are the Judges Looking For?
The judges - a panel of leading figures from the contemporary art world, will be looking for originality, creativity, and craftsmanship. The full judging panel will be announced in January 2026.
How to Apply
This is an open call for artists of all backgrounds and experience levels. To apply, simply complete the online application form and submit up to five artworks for consideration.
Once you’ve submitted your form, CCA Galleries will send you a secure link to pay your application fee.
- £20 per artwork (non-refundable)
- £10 per artwork for students in full-time education (minimum 20 hours per week, with valid student ID)
