    Your Framing Options at entergallery.com

Box framing is provided with all our online framing, creating a distance between the glass and your artwork, so no risk of ink transfer to the pane. it's the perfect, gallery grade choice for limited edition prints or original artworks.

Shadow float mounting is an option at our website, to give the appearance of an artwork floating within the frame. The mount – an archival foam core – creates depth too, by casting a shadow beneath the artwork. We highly recommend using a float mount when framing artwork with deckled (hand-torn) edges.

As always, all our materials are sustainable and archival to keep your artwork in mint condition and perfectly presented. Simply choose from our white or black float framing options, before adding to basket.

Glazing our UK framing orders are shipped with glass. For our customers outside the UK we frame with gallery grade cast acrylic offering superb clarity and protection.

    About the artist
    +

With his pioneering blend of typography and visual imagery, Brighton-based artist Mike Edwards combines the written word with celebrity portraiture, to produce an art that speaks.

In Edwards’ work, musicians become their lyrics and actors are captured through their quotes, as line after line of hand-written text is skilfully arranged into an image of the subject. Working with this textual dimension, Edwards allows personality to fuse with portrait, capturing a sense of character through the combination of type and vision.

Edwards explains: “In the same way that songs sonically amplify the meaning of words, my work is about creating a visual form that can enhance or change meaning in words by using the text itself to create the visual image.”
