Everybody Loves The Sunshine, Artist Proof

Bonnie and Clyde’s limited edition of 60 Giclee print, Everybody Loves the Sunshine, presents a deeply personal insight into the artist’s mind using photographs from her travels around the world blended into her own unique urban landscape using photomontage.
From Cesar Manrique’s Lanzarote blue lagoon to Bill Krisel’s Palm Springs, Everybody Loves the Sunshine juxtaposes several images together and blends them with photoshop and hand painted brush strokes until the lines of distinction disappear. The colour palette is reminiscent of early Hockney but with a modern twist as the mixture of soft greyscale with panels of saturated colour highlight the contemporary techniques used.
British model, Loretta Rothschild appears several times in this artwork, offering a touch of glamour and fresh perspective on celebrity culture as she reclines on a sun lounger or overlooks an ocean view.
An uplifting yet calming combination of modern architecture and nature, Bonnie and Clyde’s work is a joyful escape from the ordinary.
