Lucky Star, Purple

Lucky Star, Pink is an original piece by contemporary artist and master sign-writer, Eddy Bennett.

To create the acid etched artwork, Bennett hand-paints the design directly onto the glass with enamel paints, and then gilds it with 18 and 24ct gold.

The original piece comes signed and has been framed in a black wooden frame by the artist.

    Your Framing Options at entergallery.com

Box framing is provided with all our online framing, creating a distance between the glass and your artwork, so no risk of ink transfer to the pane. it's the perfect, gallery grade choice for limited edition prints or original artworks.

Shadow float mounting is an option at our website, to give the appearance of an artwork floating within the frame. The mount – an archival foam core – creates depth too, by casting a shadow beneath the artwork. We highly recommend using a float mount when framing artwork with deckled (hand-torn) edges.

As always, all our materials are sustainable and archival to keep your artwork in mint condition and perfectly presented. Simply choose from our white or black float framing options, before adding to basket.

Glazing all our framing orders are shipped with glass. We take great care with packaging to protect your artwork.

Alternatively, for added piece of mind, we've the option of gallery grade cast acrylic, offering superb clarity and protection.

    About the artist
    +

Originally from Cornwall, Eddy Bennett, moved to London 7 years ago and has become an internationally-acclaimed artist, producing originals and commissions to eager buyers all over the world.

Eddy Bennett’s style is unique, creative and acts as a bridge between the traditional craft of sign painting, gilding and the vibrant, arresting aesthetic of the Pop Art movement.

A self-taught artist, Eddy has mastered the technical ability to create each piece completely by hand producing works of precision both in conceptual deliberation and painstaking execution. His original works are painted by hand in reverse onto the glass itself. Layer by layer the enamel paint he works with is applied completely freehand, eventually revealing technical typographic works that consist of other natural materials such as Mother of Pearl and 23 carat gold leaf applied to the glass using the Victorian method of gilding.

Using the best quality, natural materials with authentic, traditional techniques, each artwork involves a pain-staking process that takes weeks to complete.

We are delighted to have a selection of original pieces by Eddy Bennett in our Brighton gallery and a selection of his new limited edition prints online.
