Nicobar Jaguar

UK artist, Dylan Floyd is known for his hand-drawn animal portraiture that transforms creatures that walk our planet into contemporary mythological creatures, full of other-worldly grace.

Speaking about what drew him to focusing on animals, Floyd commented: ‘We have, as a species, always thought ourselves better than the rest of the animal world, smarter than it, in control of it. I don’t believe we are. This is my big-up to nature.’

Nicobar Jaguar is a striking hand-drawn piece, which captures the essence and power of the elusive big cat.

This giclée print is from a limited edition of 50, signed by the artist.

    About the artist

Dylan Floyd is a self-taught fine artist based in the UK, who began his career painting on the street in the dead of night. His mixed-media pieces are inspired by graphic novels, religious icons, children's stories, animals and patterns.

Via his hand-drawn animal portraits, Floyd is able to capture the strength and grace of the incredible creatures we share the planet with. Each piece is designed to represent the sides of animals that we know little about, while touching on the themes of myth and storytelling that surround them.
