Don Brown Biography

Don Brown is a contemporary British artist known for figurative sculptural works depicting his wife Yoko in various states of undress.

Brown’s work harks back to the concept of muse in classical sculpture. His three-quarter or half-scale portraits of Yoko are made in a variety of smooth surfaces, ranging from bronze to acrylic. 

Brown’s artistic practice also extends into the realm of still life via large-scale sensuous paintings of fruit, eggs, and Yoko.
