We’ve managed to get hold of an amazing piece by the D’n’B DJ turned Bond Villain and massively popular urban artist Goldie! “Pump Doll” is an edition of just 40 and is screenprinted onto aluminium then hand-finished meaning no two are the same.
An edition from this series forms part of the much publicised up-coming Dreweatts Urban Art auction; of which the preview is currently on show in the Ultra Lounge, Selfridges, Oxford Street.
Goldie is fast making a name for himself in the urban art scene, embracing media exposure as opposed to the anonymity preferred by others… He recently presented the documentary “Tags to Riches” on the Sky Arts channel; examining the attitude towards street art & asking where does vandalism end and art begin. In addition to all this he’s still found time to help out fellow DJ Pete Tong, producing artwork for his new night at Eden, Ibiza.
