Art Yard Sale
One of our favourite events of the year is our Art Yard Sale, which takes place every June as part of Brighton Fringe.
The market-style event in Jubilee Square is a celebration of art, bringing collectors together with the artists they love in one fun-fuelled day of creativity and community.
Because June is too far away, we’re ending the year with another Art Yard Sale that is a little more weather appropriate.
Art Yard Sale ONLINE
At Art Yard Sale ONLINE, we’re bringing you exclusive artworks from 40 of Enter Gallery’s leading contemporary artists.
Over the course of one special weekend, these artworks will be available to buy online and in our Bond Street gallery at discounted prices.
From 9am on Friday 29th November until midnight on Monday 2nd December to snap up the artworks you like, because once midnight hits, the price will go up, or the artwork will no longer be available.
Timed Releases
To make things even more special, a number of the pieces included in this year’s Art Yard Sale ONLINE will be timed releases.
This means that the size of the limited edition will be determined by the number of people who purchase the artwork within the specified time frame. Perhaps you’ll end up with a limited edition of 10, or maybe if you’re very lucky, you might secure the only print in the edition.
Sneak Peeks
To give you a flavour of what’s in store, here are some of the special artworks available this November.
Fabric by Mark Vessey
Brighton photographer, Mark Vessey, is known for his stylish Collections series, in which he captures popular culture via the records, magazines, books and more that we adore.
In October, Vessey launched fabric – a new piece created to celebrate 25 years of the legendary London nightclub. The club’s fascinating history is captured via the mix CDs made over the years by some of the biggest legends in electronic music.
It’s rare that Vessey participates in our Art Yard Sale, so this is an extra special opportunity to snap up one of his collectible artworks at an excellent price point.
Hot Pink Pop – Candy Stripe by Sara Pope
Sara Pope is always a hit at the Art Yard Sale with collectors of her work coming from far and wide to buy her work at special prices.
This year, Pope is bringing us another flirty piece, depicting luscious hot pink lips on a candy cane background.
Arrested in Ibiza by Jessica van der Weert
Jessica van der Weert has been behind Fatboy Slim’s iconic imagery for over 10 years. As his official photographer, she has captured the superstar DJs unique persona over and again to promote sell-out shows around the world, from Iceland to Ibiza.
In this playful shot, van der Weert depicts a mugshot of the DJ, clearly detained for causing pandemonium on the dancefloor.
Joy Division Unknown Pleasures by Tape Deck Art
Tape Deck is a British artist whose love of music shines in every bespoke artwork he creates. His 3D versions of vintage music badges are painstakingly-crafted to recreate the real thing.
For this year’s Art Yard Sale ONLINE, Tape Deck is presenting not one, but three limited edition artworks…and Unknown Pleasures, the seminal album by Joy Division, is just one example.
