2020 was a year of lockdowns and let downs… but things are finally looking up! We have re-opened our Brighton gallery on Bond Street and are getting ready for our first show of the year!
Cancelled holidays, closed galleries and empty theatres have made many of us long for some much needed escapism. So, what better theme for our show than something to stimulate our senses and stir up feelings of freedom, joy and hope...
Chasing the Sun – Brighton Art Show
We asked our artists to submit an artwork based around the theme, ‘Chasing the Sun’. From desirable destinations in faraway places, to the beauty of nature, to moments in history or dreams for the future - All our artists bring a different perspective to the show!
We are excited to release a mixture of original artworks, new limited edition prints and rare pieces from Enter Gallery’s archive, from a selection of our leading artists.
From 9.30am on Thursday 22nd of April, all artworks will be available to buy online and all the participating artworks will be on display at Enter Gallery, Brighton to view and buy during our normal opening hours.
Subscribe for a reminder when the artworks are available to buy.
Bond Street Art Gallery Brighton
We may not be able to ‘gather’ in a private view like the old days, but we can safely allow up to 12 people into the gallery to view the artworks during our normal opening hours and are closely following government guidelines. Think, hand-sanitiser on arrival as opposed to a glass of bubbly for now!
If you would feel more comfortable with a one-to-one appointment, then contact us at the gallery and we can arrange a convenient time. There is parking available if you call ahead. We are closely following government guidelines - read our full covid update here.
Our artists did not disappoint. Here is a sneak peek of what is to come on the 22nd...
Oh to be free of restrictions and free as a bird! This hand-painted and gilded sign by Eddy Bennett is a celebration of freedom that combines traditional Victorian signage with a modern Pop Art twist.
Chris Kettle depicts a 'Quest for Light' in this stunning rose study captured in his trademark 'New Still Life' aesthetic.
A new day rising. Let’s hope so! Rebecca Strickson’s joyous concoctions of colour and pattern are inspired protest signs and the feeling of community.
Our friendly gallery team will be able to advise you further on these artworks and the framing options available. Message us if you have any questions at all.
